The Q

A distribution centre formerly occupied by the Quelle company in Nuremberg is being converted into a mixed-use quarter for offices, businesses, residences and social organizations. Nuremberg’s municipal authority is one of the development’s primary tenants. Large sections of the existing buildings are being cut out and remodelled in a way that is sympathetic to their historically listed status in order to accommodate the new functions intended for the site. The project’s overall goal is to enhance one of the largest building complexes in Nuremberg and transform it into a new city district.
