KfW Westarkaden

The KfW Westarkade office complex in Frankfurt am Main consists of a four-storey base building and a 14-storey tower. It covers 38,300 m² and is based on a four-storey underground car park. The individual parts of the building have a curved ground plan geometry.

Facade Reflects Colour Components of the Surroundings

Their supporting structure is made of reinforced concrete and is surrounded by a fully glazed, partially scaled facade skin. The colour scheme of the facade panels reflects the colour components of the surrounding city and park landscape of the Palmengarten.

In 2011, the building won the CTBUH’s “Best Tall Building Worldwide Award”.
