Lahnsteg Naunheim in Wetzlar

Lahnsteg Bridge Naunheim

Am Lahnsteg, the existing pedestrian bridge, which is more than 110 years old, is to be replaced by a new structure. The bridge crosses the Lahn and connects the centre of Naunheim with the Lahninsel recreation area to the south.

Pedestrian Bridge – now also Usable for Cyclists

The new Lahn footbridge will have a useful width of 4 m and can be used as a footpath and cycle path crossing. An elegant steel bar arch bridge with radial flat steel hangers and lighting integrated in the arch was chosen for the new construction.
