Dubai Design District

The Dubai Design District is made up of four seven-storey individual buildings in reinforced concrete construction as a skeleton structure on a floor area of approx. 200 x 200 m. Below them are two connected underground parking levels. The ceilings were made of 25 cm thick prestressed concrete slabs with subsequent prestressing without bond. Each of the four buildings has an atrium, the top level of which is spanned by a light steel and glass shell.

Creative Centre for Art, Design & Architecture

The Dubai Design District is regarded as the creative centre of the city and is a popular meeting place for artists, designers, architects and all those involved in the arts. The district is also extremely popular with visitors and tourists.
