East Park 09

The Park Gate Dubai project is characterised by its large shaded garden area with its own microclimate: Six towers placed in pairs are connected by roof structures. They surround a unique urban oasis inspired by the souks of the Middle East – covered markets that also serve as places to rest and socialise. The design is by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, Chicago, Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural and facade engineering.

Urban Oasis with Its Own Microclimate

The roof structure of the towers is made of glass and solar cells, which at the same time allows for the generation of electricity and shading of the area below the roof. The towers continue the curved geometry of the roofs. Their height varies between 34 and 38 storeys. The total size of the building plot is around 100,000 m².
