Arabian Canal Bridge

The Arabian Canal Bridge is a multi-lane arch bridge that crosses an artificial inlet in Jabal Ali/Dubai. The design from 2008 was made by the American architectural firm Jahn, Werner Sobek was responsible for the design planning of the supporting structure.

Bridge for 14 Car Lanes and Two for Train Traffic

With a total length of 323m and a width of 65m, the structure carries 14 lanes for car traffic and 2 lanes for trains. The height of the arch spanning the bridge is 30m. The bridge deck is made of reinforced concrete, the supporting structure and arch construction are to be made of steel.
