Deutsche Post Furniture

On a stand area of 120 m² a number of aerofoil-like wall modules with black rubberised surfaces were configured into a space-dividing spiral. Whereas the floor as well as the few items of furniture are coated with the same charcoal-grey rubber, eight of the wall modules are fitted with coloured LEDs, creating a high-quality display screen 9.6 m wide and 1.6 m high. In addition to the large LED display screen there are a number of smaller VDUs which can be made to pop up from the black cylindrical stands to provide the visitor with information concerning individual details and questions. Privacy for personal advice is provided by three-dimensionally curved furniture designed for this particular purpose. This furniture was equally covered with a specially developed rubber varnish that had not only very high haptic qualities, but was also very resistant against use.
