Alfredo Harp Helú Baseball Stadium

In the northeast of Mexico City, a new baseball stadium was built in an existing sports park for the local association ‘Diablos’. Adapted to suit the U-shaped ground plan of the baseball park the stadium holds approx. 16,000 visitors. The main load-bearing structure is spanned by a large, lightweight cantilevered roof suspended in a strict north-south orientation above the stadium and diametrically opposed to the alignment of the areas accommodating the spectators.
