Two vacant, listed industrial halls dating from 1871 to 1874 are being refurbished and converted into high-quality office space covering approx. 20,000 m². IFT is responsible for the checking engineering including construction supervision as part of the inspection (on behalf of checking engineer Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Konrad Hall)

Former Foundry to be Made Usable Again

In the former cannon foundry in Berlin-Spandau – located directly on the Spree/Havel – red-hot steel was poured into moulds for cannon barrels over 100 years ago. The historic buildings are now being reactivated and parts of the site are being made accessible to the public.
