Swarovski Headquarters

A transparent, U-shaped office building for approx. 500 workplaces was built for the Swarovski company on the northern shore of Lake Zurich in Männedorf. The view of the lake was decisive for the architect Christoph Ingenhoven‘s design, both in terms of the transparency of the facade and the orientation of the workplaces. Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural and facade engineering of the project.

High Flexibility Through Open Space & Elevation

In addition to the lobby, the ground floor of the building houses a restaurant and conference rooms. Since the 1st floor is elevated, the ground floor offers a particularly large scope in terms of floor plan use. The office areas on the upper floors also offer a high degree of flexibility, as 70 % of the space is designed as “open space”.

An underground car park offers 170 parking spaces.
