Foodgarden MTZ

ECE are planning to expand the Main-Taunus-Zentrum shopping centre (MTZ) in the German town of Sulzbach near Frankfurt am Main

A modern Design Concept with lots of Green Space

The “Foodgarden”  concept consists of five freestanding buildings that are designed to accommodate a range of restaurants and fresh produce stores. Werner Sobek was tasked with creating a basic sustainability concept for the development that addressed a number of fundamental sustainability-related themes and objectives with regards to such topics as materials, energy and comfort. This also involved working together with ECE to decide on the sustainability measures that would be of particular importance to the project overall.

In addition, Werner Sobek advised the company on drawing up an occupier fit-out specification for the development that would allow it to fulfil the requirements of the DGNB’s Platinum certification.
