Cologne Airport – ICE Station
Werner Sobek Stuttgart engineered roofing, stairs and bridges of the new subterranean railway station at the Cologne/Bonn airport. The load-bearing structure of the barrel-shaped roof (with dimensions of 156 x 38 m) consists of extremely slender steel arches that run in parallel to each other.
