Audi IAA 2015

Audi had a three-storey trade fair structure built for the International Motor Show IAA 2015. It provided space for more than 30 cars on the Agora open-air site in Frankfurt. A special structural engineering feature of the project was the so-called Ultrastructure in the centre of the exhibition area. The supporting structure of this special construction consisted of a complex steel structure with increased spans.

LED Elements, Steel Honeycomb Structure & Walls Made of Ice Blocks

This structure was fully covered with LED elements and equipped with rotating vehicles. Another special feature was a complex honeycomb structure made of steel in the entrance area of the exhibition hall as well as a room whose walls were made entirely of ice blocks.

The International Motor Show is one of the largest and internationally most important automotive trade fairs in the world.
