Saudi Arabia Masterplan

This Master Plan Proposal represents the vision for a City for Tomorrow in the tradition of Saudi Arabian cities. It is the vision of a highly intelligent sustainable city that is comfortable to live in while accommodating a cutting edge industry and education system. The goal of this proposal is to develop a vision for a new city of 60,000 – 85,000 inhabitants in Saudi Arabia. The city is to be fully functional and equipped with all necessary services and infrastructure, schools, a university, medical services, diverse shopping areas, markets, mosques and so on. The anticipated size is roughly 850 ha.

The City of Tomorrow is looking into the future while being rooted in the past and tradition of the local culture. It is composed of intelligent, modern buildings which pay respect to local traditions and incorporates landscape elements and airy green spaces using mostly local plants.
