The Brick 2.0 – New DB Tower in Frankfurt
Deutsche Bahn AG built an office building with a 66-metre-high tower – the DB Tower called The Brick 2.0 – in the newly developed Europaviertel in Frankfurt am Main. A total of 3,000 Deutsche Bahn employees will find space in the formerly industrially used areas of the Europaviertel. The building is part of the “Boulevard mitte” quarter and is based on the concept of the urban city within the city. Schmidt Plöcker Architekten from Frankfurt is responsible for the architecture, while Werner Sobek is in charge of the structural design.
