Your responsibilities
- Administrating the existing high-availability virtualisation platforms for servers (VMWare), storage (EMC²) and desktops worldwide
- Administrating the firewalls, network, hybrid AD and Azure landscape
- Operational management of projects on the topics of automation, centralisation of the IT landscape and setting standards
- Analysing and eliminating problems as well as further development of the areas of IT infrastructure and security
- Documentation of technical implementations, architectures and processes
- Supporting the helpdesk with problem analysis and troubleshooting within the framework of 2nd and 3rd level support
Your profile
- You‘ll have successfully completed your education in computer science or professional training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
- You‘re a teamplayer with professional experience in the areas of Windows Server, AD, Azure and VMWare
- You have knowledge of backup strategies and technologies, IT security and securing critical IT systems (e.g. firewall, MFA)
- You have a high level of problem-solving skills, internal customer orientation and commitment
