Three Towers for Shanghai

The SIFC (Shanghai International Financial Center) is a high-rise ensemble designed by JAHN, consisting of three towers (180 or 200 and 230 m high). The building complex not only has an impressive size, but also includes many innovative façade and special constructions, such as several rope façades over 100 m high. A three-storey bridge construction at a height of 40 m, which connects all three towers, deserves further attention. Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural and façade planning.
