Under the title “Lucio Blandini, Italian excellence in Germany”, the Corriere d’Italia recently honoured our board member and Professor of Lightweight Construction at the University of Stuttgart.
In the in-depth interview, Lucio Blandini talks about his studies in civil engineering at the Universities of Catania and Bologna, how he came to Stuttgart and finally joined Werner Sobek as a project manager. “Stuttgart has a unique tradition of interdisciplinarity between architecture and engineering,” emphasises Lucio Blandini, which culminates in the field of lightweight construction systems.
