Highest DGNB sustainability value

Hall 3C of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, designed by Zaha Hadid, achieves the highest overall score of 90.5 per cent for a DGNB certification in 2019. The outstanding economic sustainability of the building was even awarded 95.6 per cent.

We are delighted about this outstanding result and congratulate the client as well as the auditor Giulia Peretti (Werner Sobek Green Technologies) and her team. Werner Sobek was not only responsible for sustainability consulting and DGNB certification, but also for the facade engineering.

In an interview worth reading with Giulia Peretti, the DGNB reports on the award-winning project: https://blog.dgnb.de/den-raum-ordnen-durch-hochwertige-architektur/.

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) was founded in 2007 to create a system for the description and evaluation of sustainability in the built environment. Werner Sobek was one of the initiators and founding members of the association.
