Film Salon HB2 … from the Archive: Werner Sobek

The module “Emerging Fields in Architecture” at the Institute of Architecture and Design in Vienna will show a film contribution with Werner Sobek from 1997 on 22 November 2022.

The core theme of the module this semester is the “search for traces of the “essential” in relation to current and future issues of our environment, sustainability and humanity. ” In keeping with pressing questions such as “What kind of future do we want to create?” and “What role(s) does architecture have in what context?”, the students seek answers from a pioneer on the subject of sustainability in construction – Werner Sobek.

Following the film, Werner Sobek will reflect with students and interested parties on the questions of sustainability, ecology and the future in the mirror of time.
