Digital working methods are on the rise everywhere – what does an engineer need paper and pencil for? Daniel Torakai (team leader at Werner Sobek) describes the changes in the daily work of a structural engineer. He explains the demands of digital change – and why manual sketching will remain important in the future.

Werner Sobek has grown strongly since its foundation in 1992. The company now has more than 350 employees and is represented internationally.
