600 Fairbanks Tower

The building 600 Fairbanks Tower is a residential tower in Chicago with a total height of approx. 136 m and 41 floors. The first 12 floors serve as a parking garage with the access ramp located in the interior core structure. The residential units have a ceiling height of 3 m.  Floor-to-ceiling glass panels ensure maximum visibility and a high degree of transparency.

High Transparency for Maximum Visibility

The dimensions of the building are approx. 39.5 m x 24 m at ground level. From the 10th floor to the top of the building, there is a projection of approx. 2.75 m in a northerly direction. The south-eastern corner of the building is rounded over the entire height.

Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural engineering of the project.
