Women’s Power for More Sustainability
Our board member Dr Stefanie Weidner will be giving a keynote speech at the Women in Architecture Festival 2025 (WIA) in Münster on 23 June 2025. As the first nationwide festival, WIA aims to give visibility to women in architecture, interior design, urban and open space planning as well as architecture, civil engineering and building culture.
Stefanie Weidner was appointed to the Werner Sobek Executive Board in August 2024 and was honoured with the ULI (Urban Land Institute) Young Leader Award 2024 a few months later. As “Director Sustainability Strategies”, the mother of a young daughter complements our Executive Board with her expertise in climate-friendly construction. She is also a member of the “DIVIA” (Diversity in Architecture) initiative, which aims to promote public awareness of women in the architecture industry.
