Exhibition view of Stuttgart railway station in the Deutsches Museum

Stuttgart Railway Station at “Deutsches Museum”

Until 7 October 2025, visitors to the Verkehrszentrum at Deutsches Museum in Munich can gain an impressive insight into the work being carried out on the new Stuttgart main railway station. The highlight of the “Stuttgart Railway Station” exhibition is a monumental 360° panoramic image in the rotunda, showing the underground construction work including the chalice supports.

Since 5 June 2025, the exhibition has been dedicated to the centrepiece of Stuttgart 21, one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects. Our office is responsible for the engineering of the supporting structure for the chalice supports and access walkways, as well as the newly designed Bonatz building.

Werner Sobek AG is one of the sponsors of the exhibition.
