Engineering in the Service of Art
Until August 2025, the PACE Gallery in New York will be showing the installation “Telos Tales” by German artist Alicja Kwade, for which we were responsible for the object planning and structural engineering. At the centre of this large-scale work are three towering sculptures – rigid, geometric steel frames that merge into molten, tree-like limbs made of cast bronze.
Werner Sobek has been supporting artists in the structural implementation of their works for many years. For example, we had the privilege of accompanying the Stuttgart artist rosalie, who passed away in 2017, in the realisation of her fantastic works for over a decade.
