Economical and Resource-Efficient for Research

A modern new laboratory and research building is being constructed for the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) at the Berlin-Adlershof science park. To ensure that the construction is particularly economical and resource-efficient, the entire life cycle of the building was taken into account using Building Information Modelling BIM.

Werner Sobek AG was commissioned to obtain the desired BNB certification, which assesses the sustainability aspects of the project. The building was designed by the Berlin-based firm Burckhardt Architektur.
