Current DGNB Study: Climate Protection Does Not Have to Be More Expensive
The short study “Life cycle assessment of buildings” uses 28 DGNB-certified new residential buildings to show that particularly climate-friendly construction is possible even with significantly lower construction costs.
According to the study, the greatest leverage for reducing “grey emissions” lies in the choice of construction method and the materials used in the supporting structure. Both require high-quality and differentiated planning by experts.
