Climate-Friendly Hybrid Construction on the Öresund
For the new headquarters of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Copenhagen-based Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects designed a terraced wooden building that blends seamlessly into the topography of Hellerup in Denmark.
We are delighted to have been commissioned to provide structural engineering and sustainability consulting services for this beautiful project in the coastal landscape of the Öresund region in Greater Copenhagen.
The climate-friendly design of the hybrid building, constructed from wood and clay, is complemented by a large photovoltaic system on the roof of the Novo Nordisk headquarters.
